Favorite Quote:

“You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view…Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it.”

– To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

Family Law Attorney | Advocate for Complex Custody and Property Cases

Tiffany Yates-McWhorter is an accomplished family law attorney with multi-state licensure and a strong reputation and a no-quit attitude. With nearly two decades of experience, she specializes in high-conflict custody disputes, complex property division involving family businesses, and both sides of protective order litigation. She is well acquainted with the courtrooms of Tarrant, Parker, Hood and Johnson County, Texas.

Kelly and Tiffany have history being on opposing sides in the courtroom. After one significant battle years ago against her, Kelly says “I realized that she could not be underestimated and I had to find a way to work with her instead of against her.”

Tiffany earned her law degree magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2006, where she was a distinguished member of the National Moot Court Team and The Order of Barristers. She also holds a magna cum laude undergraduate degree from McMurry University.

Licensed to practice in Texas, Tennessee, and Mississippi, Tiffany is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization—a distinction held by less than 1% of attorneys in the state. Her work is defined by her meticulous case preparation, ability to defuse volatile legal situations, and a client-centered approach grounded in both legal strategy and emotional intelligence.

Beyond her practice, Tiffany and her husband are in the thick of raising two children while balancing their careers.
